EPOMEA's volunteers on full alert

The second and strongest wave of cold front “Elpis” that has been sweeping across Greece since Saturday is still ongoing. According to E.M.Y. (Hellenic National Meteorological Service), the main characteristics of the second wave are extremely low temperatures, heavy snowfall -even in flat areas of northern and eastern Greece, as well as the Aegean islands- and northern winds of Beaufort force 8 to 9 in the east.
EP.OM.E.A.’s volunteers are on standby to provide help wherever it is needed.
