Read moreOn the 6th of April EPOMEA Velou Vohas volunteers participated in a wide range Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise at the General Hospital of Korinthos. The purpose of this exercise was to test the Hospital's Evacuation Plan in case of seismic activity, the effectiveness and efficiency of available means and resources, as well as the practise training for staff members, thus ensuring the highest possible level of preparedness and cooperation of synergising stakeholders.
Partial evacuation of the hospital was performed without the disturbance of it's function.
Volunteers of EPOMEA Volos were trained on basic principals of seismology and were informed on the proper preparation, behavior and confrontation of a natural disaster of such a caliber.
