A new section was added to the family of EPOMEA Greece with the creation of EPOMEA, Municipality of Markopoulo.
At the meeting held in the Civil Protection Office of the Municipality of Markopoulo between Deputy Mayor Mr. Stampelos Fanis, Civil Protection Officer Mr Sideris Stylianos and the Head of the Region of Central Greece, Southern Greece and the Islands as well as the Vice-President of EPOMEA Egaleo Mr. Lachanas Konstantinos, the beginning of this collaboration was sealed and welll embraced by all involved groups.
The President of EPOMEA Mr. Miltiadis Benakis, in a telephone conversation with the delegates, expressed his joy and satisfaction for: "... .the immediate positive response to the call of EPOMEA Greece to establish an annex in the Municipality of Markopoulo, with the main purpose of selflessly serving our fellow citizen..." and wished "... a good start to the new beginning of the Municipal Authority and the volunteer colleagues ".

Autumn cultural events began in most cities in Greece.
Thus, at the Vrahon Theater of Vrahon, the beginning was made with the performance "Gilgames" by the theatrical group RODA.
EPOMEA Egaleo team continues its cooperation with the theater and the second season of the events, taking care of the health of the attendees.

With the resumption of the programmed performances at the Forest Theater of Thessaloniki, EPOMEA also starts dynamically her activities with the first aid coverage of Aristophanes' theatrical play "Eirene". The spectators enjoyed the hilarious performance once again without the presence of any incidents. The presence of the well-trained volunteers and the friendly and professional character they show has gained the trust of spectators and actors of the theater.

Cultural performances continue after the end of summer holidays and come to alleviate the burden of return, giving laughter, entertainment and emotion to both young and old. EPOMEA Larissa, answering the call of duty, has accepted to prvide first aid to the observers of the children's play "The Magic Flute" by Carmen Rouggeri at the Alkazar theater on 28/8.
The team's actions, however, do not stop here, as today, 29/8, volunteeers will be present providing health coverage to the spectators of the black comedy " Dad, please don't die again on Friday", by Alexandros Rigas & Dimitris Apostolos.

Become a volunteer rescuer and TAKE ACTION!

In an announcement of Mr Miltiadis Benakis, President of EPOMEA Greece, following the decision of the Board of Directors, the recognized teams of EPOMEA in the region of Macedonia are the initiate team of EPOMEA Thessaloniki and sibling teams of Sintiki, Kilkis and Pavlos Melas. Any other EPOMEA team is considered invalid and should be questioned regarding its liability.

EPOMEA team of Pavlos Melas from 12/8 is on the pilgrimage of Panagia Soumela, waiting for the rest of the team as well as for the EPOMEA Pilea-Chortiatis!

The health coverage of a live music concert with the well-known artist Dimitrios Bassis was undertaken by the volunteers of EPOMEA Sintiki. The night went smoothly without incidents.

Seismic activity of 6.3 Richter scale was recorded at 01.31 on Friday east of Kos, according to the estimation of the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens. The epicenter of the earthquake is located about 33 kilometers east of Kos, with a focal depth estimated at 10 kilometers.

The first aid coverage of the 19th Pontian Youth Association's meeting was successfully completed with the collaboration of volunteers of EPOMEA teams Kilkis and Sintiki, wich was held at the monastery of Panagia Soumela from the 13th to 16th of July!

The first aid coverings continue despite the hot weather by the members of EPOMEA Pavlos Melas at the Theater "Ghi" of the Hellenic National Theater. Coverings have been completed so far with success and minor occurrences. Congratulations to our volunteers!
