The Hellenic Federation of Civil Protection Voluntary Organizations organized under the auspices of the Civil Protection Department of the Central Macedonia Region, the Department of Civil Protection of the Regional Unity of Pieria and with the participation of the Cultural and Sport Association of Agios Dimitrios Pieria "DIAS",  the 8th cooperative exercise for Voluntary Civil Protection Organizations.
The exercise took place on Friday May 19 (15:00) until Sunday 21 May 2017 (17:00), in the area of ​​Agios Dimitrios of Pieria, on the following items:
- Research & Rescue in Ruins
- Survey of missing persons in a semi-mountainous area
- Rope Rescue Techniques
- Firefighting - Use of Vehicles - Hiking & Climbing Facilities & Works.
